Best Nose Hair Trimmer 2023 – For Ladies and Gentlemen

Philips Norelco NT9130/40 Nose Trimmer

I’m giddy about my Norelco NT9130. I imagine when it dies on me I’ll just go with the newest version in the line. I love the rounded tips. In the past, I have found even the sweetest trimmer can still yank. And you know how much that hurts. But I’ve had no such experience with this device after several months. I don’t even have to supplement trimming with tiny scissors.Pro Reviewer: Josh Williams

About Great Nose Hair Trimmers

In all my years on this planet, I’ve never met anyone comfortable about needing to manage their nose hair. These hairs are designed to stop things like dirt and bugs from getting into your system. But for a lot of people, they can grow to unsightly excess. They don’t add to your appearance hanging outside your nose. And then there’s the constant itching when those hairs make contact with above lip skin.

So I grab the tiny scissors and start clipping. It started out with a trimming maybe once a week. Next thing it escalated to two or three times a week. I got in the bad habit of letting it go, letting hairs grow until they could be braided. I was never happy about it. I’m a guy that takes his appearance seriously and not taking those frigging nose hairs seriously did not make me feel good.

One Christmas a bud presented me with a nose hair trimmer. It was a primitive little thing. And beautiful. Someone took a simple task I’d given up on and simplified it even more. I learned a few things, like the trimmer could be used to manage beards and mustaches, and clean up hair lines. I also learned to trim nose hairs, not remove them completely. Only go for hairs growing wildly or sticking out the nostrils.

Over the years, I’ve become something of an expert with these trimmers.

When buying one, I look at the following factors:

Battery Life
Some require a single battery, others are rechargeable. But you want one that provides an extended period of time on a single charge.

Portability
You can get a nice bundled case for traveling or a device that can be easily stored just about anywhere.

Motor
Manual trimmers require hands-on use to master. I have a fondness for devices with a rotary blade that automates trimming.

Durability
You want a sturdy frame with stainless steel blades.

Versatility
Like I said, I use my trimmer for nose hairs and trimming facial hair. My dad uses his for both nose and ear hair.

Pricing
You can find a solid trimmer for about a third less the price of a top electric trimmer.
